"All of my watercolor paintings represent a breadth of knowledge and insight which I have acquired, as well as those life lessons that are still leading me towards paths of greater awareness and understanding.  While several pieces respond to the current paths on which I tread, others reflect the duration of other roads I have led.  I am often amazed that some of these pieces were created four, five, even nine years ago and still hold relevance to my present walk and the journey I endure today.  Life with all its depth and layers reveals that discovery and personal growth only comes when we allow ourselves to be open to all that life has to offer."

- Christopher M. Strickland
Abstract Watercolor Expressions
These paintings are original and distinct works of art - yet connect to viewers by the quintessential thread of humanitarian consciousness and collective experiences in life.

Works of art can also be commissioned and designed specifically for one's individual aesthetics and personal spaces and environments.

Photography
My photographs are inspired by nature, environmental landscapes and the climate changes familiar to New England. I enjoy capturing the literal image of a place, as well as abstracting subject matter to offer a new and interesting perspective to behold. Similar to my watercolor abstract expressions, color is an important element that draws my attention and I use to focus on to communicate expressions discovered by an enlightened eye.
